Personification poem:Tsunami.

Tsunami gave a furious roar and flung herself at the coast.
She gobbled up houses,couches,trees and anything in her path.
She chased the fleeing people, dragging them back when she caught them.
Then she receeded, leaving a trail of destruction behind her.

  1. What wonderful word choices here Esther. I especially love the word 'receeded'. The way that you have started with the word 'Tsunami' immediately makes your reader engaged, as it makes it seem like Tsunami is the person's name.
