TKT production dance

2 weeks ago we started our production dance. Our school production is called Dare to Dream. Each class/kete got given a country.  TKT got Africa. We practice everyday. Yesterday was our last practice with Ezra. We learnt how to get on and off the stage and he helped us to get out moves even sharper than what they were before.  We have matching outfits.  Girls and boys are different. We each have boy lines and girl lines from shortest to tallest.  Some tall people are at the front because they are good at dancing. It took us 2 days to learn the whole dance with the help off Ezra. From being a dancer myself I think it's a pretty good dance for beginners!

Mini Olympics

On Thursday we left school at 9:00 and walked down to Milverton Kindergarten . When we got there we set up our activities and when it was 10:00 we had an opening ceremony. For the opening ceremony we sang the National Anthem and danced to Waka Waka. Then we started the olympic games!. There were lots of different kind of activities for the children to try.

First we taught them the activity and then afterwards every kid got a turn. After the games we had a closing ceremony were we gave out medals to every kid who took part. Everyone had a great time and had lots of fun.

Assembly

On Monday TKT  had an assembly and they shared there art and passion projects, because last term our inquiry was on exploring  our passions We all did a passion project and we all did a different thing. We got to choose between a poster or ICT to present our findings. For art we had to do a piece of a picture each, we then connected it all together. At assembly we all sat on the stage and we shared all our awesome things we had been up to.

Mini Olympics

In TKT the students are running a mini Olympics for milverton kindy. Our students are designing a range of activities around the concept of learning around challenge, active movement-(health and brain development) 'hard is good' with focuses around the STRIVE values of courage, perseverance, resilience. Last week we tested some of the juniors to find out what sort of skill level they have and what types of activities would challenge them. By Riley .S

Amazing Art

The art below was made in the timeframe of three Fridays. We made it look easy, but it's not.
It was hard because we had to collaborate and be patient. We had to work as a team and
get the colours right too. Everything had to match, if it didn't it would be out of order.
It took time but in the end, it was an amazing work of art. By Elisa
