Sir Peter Blake Trust Young Leader Award

This award went to one Year 5 or 6 student that shows outstanding leadership skills. In Te Kete Tangaroa, the children nominated people that they thought exemplified Sir Peter's beliefs - that inspiring leaders of any age could be found in every corner of New Zealand.

She was nominated, by a fellow student, for the following reason:

"I think she really deserves this award. She lives up to her position as a house leader and is an excellent role model in the classroom and out. She doesn't waste time chatting and simply gets on with what she's doing quickly and quietly. She always persevers  She never complains when the run is too long or gives up when a question is too hard. She always just gets along quickly in her own way. Being an excellent house leader and role model, she really deserves this award for all of her great qualities!

Ka Pai!
