| Wow! What a day TKT had today. We were focusing on our new inquiry topic (Tangata Whenuatanga) which is all about our heritage. We visited Te Manawa, The Square and the Palmerston North Library. We learnt about our ancestors and Palmerston North history. We were engaged in a huge range of activities and certainly learnt a lot about our heritage. |
The trip is very fun and we learn some new things.I very enjoyed the old school house because we get to write with the old pen

The field trip was fun I wish i can do it again.My favourite part of the trip was everything.The Old class was pretty terrifying.I also likes writing with the fountain pen.From Josiah :)

i laved the trip my Favorite part was defiantly the old school it was fun writing with the old fountain pen and listening to people pretending to make the teacher get really angry and taking the kid outside and whip that is it so by now

i thing that it was a awasome day because we learnt how to make butter milk see what it is like to be in a old school and play old games and went on a hunt and i did not know that the city libary had a garage it looks so cool by brandon.w :P

I also loved going on that small field trip! I never knew lots of things. Everything was fun-filled, the history of the library, the orienteering at The Square, and my favourite part was going to Te Manawa, especially in the old school. :)

That field trip was great, we had lots of fun, thanks teachers. It was exciting for all of us learning all about the Manawatu area in the early 1900's to early 2000's and how much it has changed, and it has changed a lot. I would love to have been a child in the early 1900's because you would have to be creative around entertaining yourself.

WHAT A DAY WHAT A DAY.................. That field trip was the best one yet and it. REALLY inspired me I learnt a lot more than I thought!!! LOL thank u teachers for taking us there and parents my favourite part was the old school house!!! It was fun, creepy, hard,inspiring and I learnt a lot!
