Chickens

Last week Miss Bisset brought some chicken eggs into TKT. Since then I have been learning to look after them, first I did a cycle of the chick in the egg, then I tried using a UV light to see into the egg, It didn't work so I tried an I-phone light, it worked. Now you can see veins, air pockets and a shape that could be a chick.

Here are some photos of two of the eggs that are improved.

Buddy time Diwali themed By Aylah

Every fortnight Hokowhitu school has buddy class. Tokomaru  and LZ3 decide for Diwali we would go to the four square area on the court and with chalk draw our own Diwali pattern. First we sketched our pattern and then grab the chalk and publish it on a four square. To get inspired Mrs Gifford-Moore showed us some Diwali patterns. Here are a few of the Diwali patterns we made.
