Golden Time - Baking
Golden Time - Baking
One of the things that we have been doing is baking. The amazing teacher who is taking baking is Mrs Hawkins. She is a really kind teacher. We made a family favourite. It is called Chocolate Fudge! It is very important that we listen to Mrs Hawkins. She let us do most of it ourselves. In groups we had to read the recipe, and took turns to mix. The mixture went into the fridge to set. We got to take a big slice of the fudge home. It was delicious! Below is the recipe and some photos that I took.

Chocolate Fudge
1/2 cup sugar
125 g butter
1 egg
2T cocoa
1 packet of plain biscuits (crushed up)
Gently heat the butter and sugar. When butter and sugar are melted add cocoa and beaten egg. Mix well. Add crushed biscuits. Mix well. Press out into a tin. Refrigerate. Once the mixture is set, ice with chocolate icing. Keep in the fridge.

Rippa Rugby
Yay, today we are going to play ripper rugby! We are going to learn heaps of new skills.
First of all we had to go in a square and we had to walk around and then when the referee said a number, we had to get into a group with that many people.
Secondly, we go into 3 teams: green, yellow and white. We had to stay in the square and we had to be in our teams. We had to rip the rips from the other teams.
Thirdly, we actually played ripper rugby. The green team had to play the white team first, then the white team played the yellow team, then the green team played wiht the yellow team.
Finally, we got to play a little game and then we had to go back. I really enjoyed it.
