Positive Jar By Sam

Positive Jar
The positive jar is a jar that you put notes in. On the note you write something positive about a person who  might of shown one of the Strive virtues. The notes are anonymous so the person doesn't know who wrote it.You can write the note in the day and at the end of the day.  The teachers will read them out at the end of the day.

                                                Taonga Table

The Taonga table is a special table located in the Waka in our classroom. The table is used to display other peoples special belongings.

The Taonga table
Each week, at least one person brings an item that is special to their culture or them. They share their item to the whole class, then put it on the table to display.

The purpose of this is to understand everyone more and to see what people are good at and what they like. This also relates to the Culture of the week activity we are doing in class. Through this we hope to improve our social and spiritual well being.
